Meta Device Manger - Inviting Attain to Share Applications Only
This article provides step-by-step instructions to give Attain the ability to share applications to your Meta Device Manager account and managed devices.
What Meta Device Manager Does
Meta Horizon Device Manager is the central console organizations use to manage Meta Quest devices enrolled in Meta Horizon managed services (HMS). From Device Manager, admins enroll and group devices, apply configurations, monitor device and account health, and control the apps and content available to their fleet. Since HMS became a free, required enrollment layer for all Quest devices in early 2026, Device Manager is the starting point for any organization deploying Quest headsets at scale, regardless of which third-party MDM sits on top of it.
What Sharing Your Organization Key Allows
Your organization key is a unique credential tied to your Device Manager org. Sharing it with a trusted developer — like Attain — lets them enter it in the Meta Quest Developer Center to verify their invitation. Once verified, Attain can upload their private apps and share them directly into your organization's Apps & Content library, where your admins can assign them to devices and groups. This is the mechanism that lets Attain publish and update content for your organization without going through the public Meta Quest Store.

Security note Treat your organization key like a password. Only share it with developers you trust, since anyone holding the key can share private apps into your organization. |
